The ‘Nubells’ room

Nubells are a uniquely biomechanic tool for developing strength. Compared to normal dumbbells, Nubells feel far more comfortable to handle, making workouts much more enjoyable and impactful. Medically, they are protective of our joints as humans. The circular rim of weight distribution around the loaded joint provides an environment of excellent biomechanical cartilage stimulation.

The ‘Red Machine’

Designed specifically for athletic strength and speed development. The essentials of biomechanics of block starts are developed on our ‘Red Machine’, for optimum hip extension.

Location: athletic zone

Hip Thrust Machine

Maximum velocity speed strength is built and enhanced on our reverse hip extension station. This unique piece of equipment augments the explosive movement of acceleration through lower pelvis muscle movements.

Location: athletic zone

Seated Calf Raise Machine

Improving speed and strength requires lower ankle and calf muscle development. With this machine, you can strategically train the Soleus and anatomical synergistic muscle of the pretibial.

Location: athletic zone

Seated Hamstring Curls

The final station in the athletic zone is the seated hamstrings machine. This machine develops great strength in the swing phase of high velocity movements, making you a stronger and faster athlete.

3D Hip Abductor

The 3D hip abductor machine is a piece of gym equipment designed to strengthen the hip abductor muscles, including the gluteus medius, gluteus minimus, and tensor fasciae latae. These muscles are responsible for moving the leg away from the body (abduction) and stabilizing the pelvis during movement.

Location: athletic zone

Calf Raise Machine

The inclined calf raise machine targets the calf muscles, especially the soleus, by raising the heels while in a bent-knee, inclined position. It builds lower leg strength, enhances muscle endurance, and supports ankle stability.

Location: athletic zone

Horizontal Hip Abductor/Adductor

The horizontal hip abductor/adductor machine targets the gluteus medius and gluteus minimus by moving the legs outward in a seated, horizontal position. It helps improve hip strength, stability, and lower body balance. Heavy weight stack up to 100kg.

Location: athletic zone

Shoulder Press

The shoulder press machine targets the deltoid muscles, primarily the anterior and medial delts, by pressing the handles overhead. It builds shoulder strength, improves upper body stability, and supports pressing power in a controlled motion.

Location: athletic zone

Lats Pulldown

The lat pulldown machine targets the latissimus dorsi and upper back muscles by pulling a bar down toward the chest. It builds back strength, improves posture, and enhances upper body pulling power.

Location: athletic zone

Leg Extension

The leg extension machine targets the quadriceps by extending the knees against resistance while seated. It strengthens the front of the thighs, supports knee stability, and helps with leg muscle definition.

Location: athletic zone

Max Velocity Unit

The max velocity machine tagrets the quads and hamstrings, unlike the leg press, it allows you to work each leg individually.

Leg Press

The horizontal leg press machine targets the quadriceps, glutes, and hamstrings by pushing a weighted platform away with the feet while seated. It builds lower body strength, supports joint stability, and offers a controlled alternative to squats with reduced stress on the lower back.

Location: the orange rooms

Smiths Machine

A versatile machine that provides stability and support for various exercises, including squats, chest press, shoulder raises and more. Its fixed barbell within steel rails allows for vertical movement while restricting horizontal motion, reducing the risk of injury.

Location: the orange rooms

Leg Press

A fundamental piece of gym equipment designed to target the lower body muscles, particularly the quadriceps, hamstrings, and glutes. Using a sliding seat or platform, users push against weighted resistance to extend their legs, mimicking the motion of a squat without the need for balancing weights.

90-Degree Inverted Abs

Our abs machine is designed to specifically target and strengthen your abdominal muscles. The 90-degree angle will have your abs chiseled in no time.

Hatfield Squat Rack

Promoting proper biomechanics and safety. Ideal for powerlifters and fitness enthusiasts, it targets the quadriceps, glutes, and hamstrings effectively while minimising lumbar strain.

Belt Squat Machine

The very best Belt Squat Machine system from our friends at ATX. The belt squat machine targets lower body muscles safely by suspending weight from a belt around the waist, reducing strain on the spine. It’s adjustable and suitable for all fitness levels, focusing on quadriceps, glutes, and hamstrings for strength and muscle development.

Location: the mezzanine floor

Seated chest press

The seated bench press machine targets the chest muscles, primarily the pectorals, along with the triceps and shoulders. It simulates a traditional bench press in a more controlled, upright position, helping to build upper body strength while reducing strain on the joints.

Location: the mezzanine floor

Cable crossover unit

The cable crossover unit is a versatile machine featuring adjustable pulleys that allow for a wide range of upper and lower body exercises. It’s ideal for functional strength training, using constant tension to engage muscles through full ranges of motion. This unit supports exercises like chest flys, tricep pulldowns, bicep curls, rows, lateral raises, and even pull-ups using the central bar. Its flexibility makes it suitable for targeting multiple muscle groups, improving muscle balance, and enhancing core stability.
